Baba Box Unboxing - October 2016

Posted on November 30 2016

Hot on the heels of our first ever Baba Box in September, our second box landed on doorsteps in late October. The box included five different carefully selected products, four for babas and a treat for mum.

 October box included;

A dijon Slouchy Beanie from Zaibob

Super soft, lightweight and designed to wear all year round, no matter the season. Handmade by Dublin mama of two, Kalee, who started the label inspired by her son Zai. Zaibob makes an excellent range of beanies, t-shirts and caps.

Black and White board book by Jane Foster

A bold and graphic board book suitable for babas of all ages. Jane is an illustrator, author and textile designer who lives in Devon.

Lavender, Rosemary & Mint Hand Cream from the Handmade Soap Company

An award winning cream, made in Ireland. Founded in 2010, all soaps and creams are handmade in Co. Meath. They are made from natural ingredients, with essential oils and free from all parabens.

Sleepy Eyes Scratch Mitts from Rocky Racoon Apparel

For our smaller babas (0-3 months), we had a pair of Sleepy Eyes Scratch Mitts from Rocky Racoon Apparel. They were handmade by mum of one, Irina from Ukraine with 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Rocky Racoon Apparel specialise in organic clothing for kids.

Cloud Teether from Fox's Felts

For our bigger babas (4 - 12 months), we included a silicone grey marbled cloud teether from Fox's Felts. The soft chewable teether helps to soothe painful and sore gums. Set up by Harlow based mama Amy, Fox's Felts makes a range of kids' apparel, teething aids and needle felt mobiles.

We had some lovely feedback on our October box, and some great pics of babas out and about in their Zaibob beanies!

The October box is now available as a one-off gift Mum and Baby Gift Box, with the option to include either the scratch mitts or cloud teether or both. Makes a perfect baby gift and gift for a new mum.
